Payload Development
The Team is developing Payload System for the satellites. These payloads offer reliable computing in a small form factor component. Nexcope's payload board is a customizable hardware designed as a swapable entity - easy replacement and well suited for early prototyping and production.
Multimedia Compression
Nexcope's Research team, including renowned names in multimedia compression have come along to develop the World's most advanced compression algorithm that is proven to provide image compression up to 80 times; that to with acceptable losses.
The patent for the proprietary system is awaiting award.
Future Plans
Nexcope plans to take a step further and develop the proprietary algorithm into an indigenously developed SoC, which will perform compression in real-time and also offer seamless video compression that too up to 80 times.

Global Space Ecosystem is witnessing a surge in the development of Earth Observation (EO) satellites which generate enormous image data, close to a few Gigabytes each day.

We have successfully tested video compression at lower resolutions and average latency. Research is ongoing for a low latency, high resolution Video Compression.
